MEYER NEPTUN Luxembourg is looking for a strategic purchaser (m/f/d).

Main Tasks:

  • Coordination and negotiation of the key local IT contracts across the Meyer Group (mainly for Germany and Finland)
  • Participate in Global Frame Agreements negotiations in cooperation with the local Purchasing Departments and Technical Departments
  • Work with local departments to bundle requirements and prepare tender/ RFQ documents
  • Issue tenders/ RFQs
  • Analyze and compare offers
  • Negotiate contract terms
  • Prepare award proposals
  • Monitor the relevant procurement markets and stay informed of market developments, including raw materials for important standard materials
  • Supplier research
  • Contract maintenance
  • Support the Lead Buyer to rollout the procurement strategy
  • Handle different projects based on IT budgets (existing contracts/new initiatives)
  • Be the Key user in SAP/SAP Ariba and possibly support the Corporate Procurement team in the contracts creation
  • Support additional Indirect categories

  

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in a Business related field, IT and/or Engineering
  • Intermediate level (5-year experience on Procurement field)
  • Previous experience with IT Procurement Processes and/or any Indirect Category
  • Experience with SAP/SAP Ariba tools (Sourcing) and experience handling RfIs, RfPs, Auctions
  • Team player with the demonstrated ability to work in international teams
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Excellent communicator, fluent in English. German and/or Finnish language skills would be considered a plus
  • Open to frequent business travel
  • Driver’s License
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage complex procurement projects across several entities
